Dysfunctional Family
Family. A word which holds people and emotions together, which unites everyone under a roof. Not chosen, but these are the people who are meant to stay together and be each other's support systems.
But don't we often take family for granted? Not all can share their problems and have a long friendly conversation about life, despite living with their "families" in the same house. The communication gap increases to such an extent that awkwardness fills the void.
Now the question is- "Is this okay?"
Definitely yes. They don't need to know each and every detail about your life, but will always have an open ear and a kind heart to whatever stories or blues you want to share with them. Sometimes they teach you how to live ALONE and still be HAPPY, and they assure you that you always have them by your side.

Maybe, these kind of families have more issues and emotional tensions as compared to other "regular" families, which are way more transparent and smooth, but then they have more reasons to celebrate their bond and keep it intact. No matter how much differences they have between them, they stand firm in front of all the hurdles that come in their close ones' way.
I'd like to terminate my piece of thought by a dialogue from a series "Tripling": "A family is the only bond which is ALLOWED to be dysfunctional." But that doesn't mean people should give all their hopes up and think they're left all alone. "Kyuki crisis ke time pe family hi kaam aati hai."
